About the role

The most important thing in this role is outstanding customer service. We strive for 100 percent customer satisfaction on every job. Service and install commercial overhead doors and operators for shops, warehouses and storefronts in the Austin area. The work covers sectional and full view doors, high cycle spring systems and commercial operators.

Responsibilities

• Repair commercial sectional overhead doors, including springs, cables, tracks and sections
• Install new commercial doors and operators
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial operators and their safety devices
• Work safely on taller openings using ladders and lifts
• Coordinate with business owners and managers to keep disruption to their work low
• Record the work done and the parts used on each job

Requirements

• Experience with commercial overhead doors or closely related mechanical work
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable working at height and handling heavy door sections
• Able to read installation instructions and wiring diagrams
• Reliable, safety minded and professional on customer sites
